Without a digital presence, Murph Marathon relied heavily on word-of-mouth and social media for outreach. They needed a professional website that captured the intensity and dedication of their endurance event while making it easy for athletes to learn more and register. While all projects are exciting, this one was doubly so since Ben was doing this insane endurance challenge to raise money to build education infrastructure in Cambodia.
We created a streamlined, high-energy site with a bold design and clear CTAs (calls-to-action) to drive participation. The refreshed UX (user experience) now ensures athletes can easily register, access event details, and engage with the community. Throughout the process it was necessary to stay glued to the specific details that Ben and his team wanted. Richard from Hark Angels was embarking on the journey with him, so ensuring that the brand mirrored his precise image was very important.
The new site now serves as a central hub for the Murph Marathon community, making event organisation smoother and participation easier. And most importantly, we smashed the goals for the fundraising campaign, with Ben and his team raising over $50000 towards helping children in need in Cambodia.
